Public comment
Public comment from Steve Cockerell, Coordinator, San Francisco Parks Coalition (1) commending the work of the Sunshine Ordinance Task Force; (2) expressing difficulty getting information from departments on their custodian of records; and (3) on the lack of information available on the City’s website sfgov.org for previous month’s Board Committee agendas and minutes and City department contacts and addresses.
Committee Chair Parker recommended that an amendment be made to the Sunshine Ordinance to require that the Board of Supervisors website contain indexed agendas and minutes for Commissions and Boards covered by the Sunshine Ordinance.

Discussion regarding possible groups and dates for community meetings to discuss proposed amendments to the Sunshine Ordinance.
Public comment from Richard Knee, Chair of the Compliance and Amendments Committee on the structure of community meetings and scheduling dates, times, and locations for meetings.

Future Committee items.
Member Mehra recommended (1) a department custodian of records list be placed on the Sunshine Ordinance Task Force website as a central location; and (2) departments submit changes in their custodian of records to the Sunshine Task Force office monthly, quarterly, or annually.
