1. Oaths of Office

Oaths of office given by Deputy Clerk Madeleine Licavoli to Joshua Koltun, Richard Knee, Heather Sterner, Doug Comstock, Sue Cauthen, Garrett Jenkins, David Parker, Alexandra Nickliss.

2. Presentation of certificates to outgoing Task Force Members

Administrator Donna Hall presented outgoing Task Force Member certificates to Bob Planthold, Paul Hogan, Ted Kowalczuk; also a certificate to Deputy City Attorney Jackie Minor.

3. Adjourn for a short reception honoring outgoing Task Force Members

Meeting adjourned for reception.

4. Election of Officers

Meeting reconvened.

Member Knee nominated Member Koltun as Chair. No further nominations.
(Unanimous vote in favor of Member Koltun as Chair) (Brugmann, Williams absent)

(b) Vice Chair

Member Parker nominated himself as Vice Chair. Member Comstock nominated Member Jenkins as Vice Chair. No further nominations. Member Jenkins elected Vice Chair. (Voting for Jenkins: Koltun, Knee, Harrison, Sterner, Comstock, Cauthen, Jenkins, Nickliss. Voting for Parker: Parker) (Brugmann, Williams absent)

5. Approval of minutes of April 23, 2002

6. Report of Complaint Committee

(a) Report of meeting of 5-16-02
          Member Koltun reported on the Complaint Committee meeting of 5-16-02

(b) Jurisdiction of complaint of Anthony Imperial against the Human Rights Commission

Motion adopted approving Task Force jurisdiction of the complaint of Anthony Imperial against the Human Rights Commission for failure to produce records. (Knee, Parker) (Brugmann, Williams absent)

7. Public hearing, Anthony Imperial against the Human Rights Commission for failure to produce records

Motion adopted continuing this item to a time when the complainant can attend. (Harrison, Sterner) (Brugmann, Williams absent)
