Motion to dismiss the complaint. The Task Force expresses its displeasure with the Controllers Office for not having an authorized representative present and urges the Department of Human Services to print out and provide three copies of documents to Complainant. (Knee/Pilpel)

Discussion: The Task Force discussed whether continuances should continue to be granted by request of Complainant/Departments only or require approval of the Task Force.

Motion to continue this item to the October 25, 2005 meeting. (Knee / Mueller)

Motion to find the San Francisco County Assessor and Recorder in violation of Sections 67.25 and 67.28* for failure to provide copies of its records in a timely manner. Further discussion regarding fees is referred to the Education, Outreach, and Training Committee. (Cauthen/Wolfe)

Member Cauthen requested that pages in the packet be numbered sequentially.

Member Pilpel requested that a copy of the Memorandum For City Attorney Dennis Herrera dated September 7, 2005 to all Elected Officials, Boards, Policy Bodies, and Department Heads be provided to the Task Force.

Member Comstock discussed his invitation to speak at the meeting of the Civil Grand Jury.

Member Pilpel indicated that the San Francisco Unified School District is moving toward an open government.

Member Pilpel encouraged Task Force Members to bring other issues before the Task Force so that other issues are heard besides complaints.
