MINUTES*

Tuesday, December 17, 2002

Committee Members: Marie Harrison, Chair; David Parker, Bruce Brugmann

Note: Each member of the public will be allotted the same maximum number of minutes to speak as set by the Chair at the beginning of each item, excluding City representatives who are requested by the Committee to make a presentation.

Note: Each item on the Agenda may include minutes, department or agency letters and reports, Task Force reports, and public correspondence. These items will be available for review at City Hall, Sunshine Ordinance Task Force Office, Room 409, or Room 244.

Meeting called to order at 2:30 p.m.

Roll Call: Member Parker absent for Item 1

1. Minutes of August 7, 2002.

   Minutes approved. (Brugmann/Harrison) (Parker absent)

   Member Parker entered the meeting at this time.

2. Discussion of appropriate procedures for staff, complainants, and Task Force Members regarding investigating violations of the Sunshine Ordinance.

   Motion adopted approving the draft rules for SOTF members who are aware of public records and/or public meeting law violations, with corrections. (Harrison/Brugmann) Deputy City Attorney Llorente to rewrite the Guidelines for SOTF members who are aware of public records and/or public meeting law violations. (Attached)
