All discussion of the College Board subject to the points being brought to the full City College Board.
Sunshine Ordinance Section 67.6 (c) regarding regular meetings falling on a holiday to be held on the next business day, etc.: Consensus agreement of College Board members in attendance.
Section 67.6 (f) regarding special meetings to be noticed 72 hours in advance: This item to be taken to the full Board.
Section 67.15 (a) (c) & 67.7 (e) (2) regarding public comment requirements: Consensus agreement of College Board members in attendance.
Section 67.12 (b) (5) regarding collective bargaining: To be taken to full Board regarding the 15-day in advance portion.
Section 67.3 (c) (2), 67.3 (b) (4) (c), 67.3 (c) (3), 67.3 (c) (2), 67.3 (d) regarding City College Board being a policy body and meeting requirements: Consensus agreement of College Board members in attendance the City College Governing Board is a policy board; the remainder items to be taken to the full Board.
Closed sessions, minutes of closed sessions, reporting out of closed sessions: Consensus agreement of College Board members in attendance that these processes are in place.
Public records requests, response, exemptions from public disclosure: The District has a Public Information Officer; complaints are referred to legal counsel; final decisions are with the Board.
Lobbyist activities: These procedures are in place.
Calendars/training: Chancellor has calendar open to the public.
The above information was in response to the October 12, 2001 letter to Chancellor Day from Virginia Riegel, Attorney at Law.
The response to the information submitted by General Counsel Ronald Lee in June 2002, will be discussed at the next meeting.
Task Force Member Brugmann requested the College Board come up with an ombudsman or task force relative to hearing public records concerns. Dr. Day stated this was a possibility.
