1. Discussion and possible action re: Report back from research of after school care for elementary school students and other tasks assigned at last meeting (15 minutes)

Members will report back their research on after school programs for elementary school students and based in this information, determine what issues need to be addressed in developing a universal after school care for elementary school students.

2. Discussion and possible action re: Preparation for Meeting with School Board Commissioner Frank Chong regarding after school care for elementary school students to present Commission research and develop possible proposal (5 minutes)

Members will prepare for a meeting with Commissioner Chong. They will compile their research, decide what information to present, what questions to ask Commissioner Chong, and what proposal for increasing after school care to present.

3. Discussion and possible action re: Setting up meetings with other potential supporters of universal after school care for elementary school students and other new tasks. (20 minutes)

Members will discuss who else they would like to meet with regarding after care, discuss possible collaboration with the Child Care Planning Advisory Council and the Student Advisory Council, and other next steps in developing a universal after care program.
