1. Call to Order
Meeting was called to order.
Commissioners present: Castaing, Davidson, Lunsford
Staff present: Gillian Bogart

2. Approval of Agenda
Agenda was unanimously approved.

3. Public Comment on Items not on Agenda

4. New Business
A. Discussion and possible action re: AB 12 the California Fostering Connections to Success Act
Commissioners discussed the provisions of AB 12 and discussed campaigns that express support for the assembly bill. Commissioner Lunsford will present a letter drafted by HEY for the full commission to sign on to on Monday, April 6th, and Gillian will forward it to Assemblymember Jim Beall Jr, should the commission sign on and support the bill.

B. Discussion and possible action re: release of Federal Medicaid Assistance Programs (FMAP) funds
Commissioners discussed the use of FMAP funds to stave off some of the devastating cuts being faced by HSA and DPH. The commissioners agreed that they would like to draft a statement to share with the Budget Committee and BoS.

5. Unfinished Business
A. Discussion and possible action re: Chinese Community Health Resource Center (CCHRC) collaboration
In Commissioner Lau's absence, Gillian Bogart, staff provided and update about the event.

B. Discussion and possible action re: Next Steps for LGBTQ resolution
Commissioner Castaing provided and update about the resolution and the work that is being done with community partners.

C. Discussion and possible action re: TAY Multiservice Center
Commissioner Castaing spoke about the meeting and the purpose of the Multiservice Center, noting that Commissioner Lunsford's colleague Horace from CHALK brought valuable perspective to the meeting. Commissioner Davidson would like to attend future meetings about the Multiservice Center.
