1. Call to Order
Meeting called to order at 5:12pm.
Commissioners present: Lau, Castaing, Davidson, Lobo, Erlikh
Staff present: Gillian Bogart
Community present: Angela Sun and Joyce Chen, CCHRC

2. Approval of Agenda
Agenda approved.

3. Public Comment on Items not on Agenda
None.

4. New Business
A. Presentation and brief overview of Chinese Community Health Resource Center (CCHRC) programs and services, and explore potential collaboration opportunities between the Youth Commission and CCHRC. Angela Sun.
Angela Sun and Joyce Chen gave a basic overview of their programs at the CCHRC. They asked the committee to endorse their project "Health Need Assessment through Art and Media." The committee will do five things: 1) Endorse the project, 2) Help outreach for the art contest component, 3) Tiffany Lau will be a judge on the panel which decides winners of the competition, 4) Be present and provide support at the event, and 5) Those who are interested will become members of CCHRC sub-committees.
The CCHRC will be launching their Teen Health website in the next few months and has asked the commission to support it. Commissioner Lau will draft a resolution, for potential joint adoption with the SAC to urge the Board of education to endorse the website, and potentially help promote the site through school sites or programs.

B. Discussion and possible action re: working with the HRC LGBT working group for the providers gathering.
The Commissioners have endorsed and will help to facilitate the HRC LGBT working group's LGBT providers gathering on Monday, February 23rd at 5:30pm. Commissioners Castaing and Lobo will attend, with staff support from Gillian Bogart.

5. Unfinished Business
A. Discussion and possible action re: Scheduling a workshop with the HEY Emancipated Youth Advisory Board.
Potential workshop dates that work for commissioners are the following Mondays at 5pm in March 9th, 23rd, 30th or Wednesdays at 5pm the 4th or 11th.

B. Chair report back on Budget discussions and priorities.
Commissioner Lau told the committee about the research that she did with the ad-hoc executive committee.

C. Discussion and possible action re: Next Steps for LGBTQ resolution
Commissioner Castaing told the committee members about working with the Human Rights Commission, the SAC, C2P, and the NSRC. It is our hope that the resolution will be jointly adopted by March.6. Announcements (This includes Community Events)
