A. Resolution urging the San Francisco Board of Supervisors to urge the California state legislature to restate the original language of the master plan of 1989, that gave guaranteed admission to students in top rank amongst all public high school graduates, into the master plan of 2002 [Commissioner Ramos-Castro]

A. Discussion re: Update on Youth VOTE 2002-Youth VOTE is a collaboration between the Youth Commission, Youth Making A Change, and the Student Advisory Council of the San Francisco Unified School District.

A. Discussion and possible action re: Authorization of Absence for Commissioner Virgen (September 9th meeting)

B. Discussion and possible action re: Presentation by Vincent Kukua - Coalition to Defend Affirmative Action and Integration and Fight for Equality By Any Means Necessary (BAMN) on the proposed Masterplan for California Education for University and State Colleges.

C. Discussion and possible action re: Resolution commending the students, teachers, and advocates of phoenix high school in their activism and organizing to get a new school site [Commissioners Ramos-Castro and Villaluna]

D. Discussion and possible action re: Resolution commending Cellspace as a youth friendly arts/entertainment space [Commissioner Villaluna]

E. Discussion re: Presentation by Stephanie Smith - Youth Leadership Institute - on the Alcohol Policy Report by Friday Night Live

F. Discussion and possible action re: Holding the Youth Commission meeting to be held on Monday, October 21, 2002 in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month [Commissioner Villaluna]
