Colleen wanted everyone to know that the Audit, Labor, & Government Efficiency Committee will be having a Hearing to study the service coordination between various commissions and agencies serving children, youth, and families, including the Delinquency Prevention Commission, Youth Commission, Children and Families Commission, Juvenile Probation Commission, and DCYF. She asked for a Commissioner to attend with a staff person. She also noted that the Library will be starting a Library improvement advisory group, and asked if any commissioners were interested in participating in the group. She also noted that there have been a couple of recent incidents regarding people’s privacy being invaded in the office. The staff has been very generous with our offices, computers, radios, etc. and we would like to continue to be, however in order to do so we need to be able to trust everyone to respect our privacy and to be considerate when using our work areas. Please respect our space, just as we respect yours. If you are using a staff person’s desk or office, be thoughtful and respectful.

Nicole thanked everyone who attended the diversity training on Saturday, and informed everyone that there will be a part two of this workshop at the mid-year retreat.
