There will be public comment on each item.

1. Call to Order
Meeting called to order at 5:30pm.
Commissioners Present: Marshall-Fricker, Jones, Carlson, Erlikh, Recinos, Frierson, Castaing, Davidson, Lunsford, Martinez, Quesada
Staff Present: Julia Sabory, Peter Lauterborn, Gillian Bogart

2. Approval of Agenda
Motion to approve the agenda made by commissioner Quesada, seconded by Erlikh, with unanimous commission approval.

3. Approval of Minutes
Motion to approve the minutes made by Commissioner Marshall-Fricker, seconded by Davidson with unanimous commission support.

4. Public Comment on Items not on Agenda
None was made.

5. Staff Report
Gillian Bogart, staff, reminded commissioners that they must turn in applications to reapply for the upcoming term.
Peter Lauterborn, staff, updated the commissioners about the progress of YouthVote and announced new information available.

6. Policy Report
New Items

A. Referral, BoS file 090457. Hearing on the status of implementation of the improvements to Duboce Park. City Operations and Neighborhood Services Committee, Sponsor: Bevan Dufty.
Motion to support a hearing made by Commissioner Erlikh, with a second by Marshall-Fricker, and unanimous commission approval.

B. BoS file 090532. Resolution supporting Senate Bill 782 to provide stable, safe housing for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault or stalking. Sponsor: Carmen Chu.
Motion to support the resolution by Quesada with a second by Commissioner Marshall-Fricker and with unanimous commission approval.

C. BoS file 090537. Resolution endorsing and supporting San Francisco's inclusion in the California Department of Public Health's "Healthy Purchase Pilot Program". Sponsor: Sophie Maxwell.
Motion to support this resolution by Quesada, seconded by Commissioner Davidson, with unanimous commission support. Commissioner Lunsford will prepare a statement of support for the full Board of Supervisors.

7. Past Items

A. Youth Commission Budget Priority Presentation before the Board of Supervisors Budget and Finance Committee.

B. Discussion re: Ordinance to require Rec. and Park to restore Sharp Park habitat for red-legged frog and San Francisco garter snake.
Since the commission has already expressed its support of this ordinance, commissioner Quesada will draft a statement.

8. New Business

A. Discussion and possible action re: endorsement of the "Voices of the Next Generation Campaign" a campaign of Coleman Advocates.
Motion to support by Commissioner Carlson with a second by Commissioner Marshall-Fricker with unanimous commission support.

B. Discussion and possible action re: youth programming for the Geneva Car Barn and Power House, Nicole Avril.
Motion to support by Commissioner Carlson, seconded by Commissioner Davidson, with unanimous commission support.

9. Unfinished Business

A. Discussion and possible action re: Resolution Confirming That The San Francisco Unified School District Maintains That Students Must Take Three Year Of Social Sciences To Graduate From High School.
The resolution was passed 9-2.
Yes: Marshall-Fricker, Jones, Erlikh, Recinos, Frierson, Davidson, Lunsford, Martinez, Quesada
No: Carlson, Castaing

B. Discussion re: Cosponsorship of MHONA's Walk and Roll. Commissioner
Marshall-Fricker has committed to contacting Supervisor Alioto-Pier and will attend the event. Commissioner Jones also committed to attending.
