3. Public Comment (This is chance for people to give their thoughts on youth
issues, feed back to the Commission or any other comments. Each member of the
public will be allotted the same number of minutes to speak.)

- Discussion and possible action re: Presentation from Julia Globus-Sabori
on possible collaboration with the Human Rights Commission on juvenile justice
issues.
- Discussion and possible action re: Taking action on recommendations
from Hear Us, Don't Fear Us and Committee recommendations.
Committee members will choose focus area/goals for the rest of the year
and create a work plan for accomplishing those goals. Possible ideas include
writing and distributing a report, doing youth media advocacy, and increasing
legal training for youth in the wake of Prop 21.
- Discussion and possible action re: Presentations to other Commissions.
Committee members will plan presentations with findings from Hear Us and
other research, and decide which commissions they would like to present
to.
- Discussion and possible action re: Follow-up with other Bay Area
Youth Commissions.
Committee members will evaluate the collaboration with other Bay Area Youth
Commissions, decide if and how they would like to continue working with
them.
- Discussion and possible action re: Setting Next Meeting's Agenda.
