for people to give their thoughts on youth issues, feed back to the Commission
or any other comments. Each member of the public will be allotted the same number
of minutes to speak.)

- Discussion and possible action
re: A 2-way hearing with representatives from the Youth Commission, Board
of Supervisors, Juvenile Probation Commission, Human Rights Commission,
Police Commission, District Attorney's Office on the Impact of Proposition
21 on youth in San Francisco and how city departments will respond. Committee
members will continue planning the goals, content and format of a joint
hearing which would address what city policy is around Proposition 21. Recommendations
from this hearing could help create new department policies, legislation
and a Juvenile Justice Task Force to monitor the city's response.
- Discussion and possible action
re: Organizing Know-Your-Rights Trainings and Speak-Outs on juvenile justice
issues in San Francisco neighborhoods in preparation for the hearing.
- Discussion and possible action
re: Collaboration with the Board of Supervisors and Commissions and Departments
in preparation for the hearing.
Committee members will plan meetings
and presentations with findings, recommendations, and other research to
relevant city agencies in preparation for the hearing.
- Discussion and possible action
re: Follow-up with other Bay Area Youth Commissions.
Committee members will evaluate
the collaboration with other Bay Area Youth Commissions, decide if and how
they would like to continue working with them.

re: Setting Next Meeting's Agenda.
