A joint hearing of the Youth Commission Juvenile Justice Committee and the
Board of Supervisors Public Health Committee on the implementation of Proposition
21 in San Francisco and its impact on youth in the city.
Introductory Comments:
Juvenile Justice Committee Members Jasmin Barker and Jewnbug, and Supervisors
Sue Bierman, Amos Brown, and Michael Yaki.
Public Comment:
The hearing will focus on obtaining input from youth and other concerned community
members on the implementation of Proposition 21 and how this Proposition and
other juvenile justice policies affect youth in San Francisco. Innovative solutions
to the problem of youth violence will be encouraged.
