Motion to approve recommendations to award six grants totaling $15,000 in the Arts For Neighborhood Vitality grants to the following organizations, and to authorize the Director of Cultural Affairs to enter into grant agreements with each for the amounts listed: OMI Cultural Participation Project, $2,500 Excelsior Action Group, $2,500 Marigold Project, $2,500 Richmond District Neighborhood Center, $2,500 Genryu Arts / Gen Taiko, $2,500 Urban Solutions, $2,500 Supplemental Documents: Arts For Neighborhood Vitality grant project descriptions and staff review summary of the application evaluation. Motion to enter into a 2011-2012 grant agreement with Community Initiatives in an amount not to exceed $50,000 to sustain arts education programs. Discussion 1.
