Monday, June 4, 2012

I. The Special Meeting was called to order at 1:10 p.m.

Present: President E. Dennis Normandy
Vice President Kate Favetti
Commissioner Scott R. Heldfond
Commissioner Mary Y. Jung

President E. Dennis Normandy presided.

II. Public Comment on all matters appearing on the Special Meeting Agenda Session.

None.

III. Vote on whether to hold closed session pursuant to California Government Code Section 54957 (b) (1) and San Francisco Administrative Code 67.10 (b) – Personnel Matter – Public Employee appointment – Executive Officer (File No. 0161-12-1)

Action: The Commission voted to conduct closed session. (Vote of 4-0)

A) PUBLIC EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT – EXECUTIVE OFFICER
(DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ITEM)

Closed Session started at 1:11 p.m. in City Hall, Room 421 and the following were present:

Anita Sanchez, Executive Officer, CSC
Scott R. Heldfond, Commissioner, CSC
Kate Favetti, Vice President, CSC
E. Dennis Normandy, President, CSC
Mary Y. Jung, Commissioner, CSC
Lizzette Henríquez, Personnel Technician, CSC

Closed Session ended at 1:45 p.m.

IV. Reconvened in open session at 1:47 p.m.

Action: A) The Commission voted to disclose the following action from its closed session (San Francisco Administrative Code Section 67.12 (a))

B) The Commission directed/requested the Executive Officer to make representation and communication with the Mayor’s Office as to any assistance that can be given both the Commission and its Staff in the endeavor to find the replacement for Executive Officer. (Vote of 4 to 0)
