Planning Department releases Neighborhood Profiles
New summaries are available based on data from the Census Bureau's American Community Survey program as well as from the decennial census.
The Planning Department has prepared neighborhood profiles based on recently released data from the Census Bureau's American Community Survey program, detailing the state of the city for the period 2005-2009. They also contain population and race counts from the 2010 Census enumeration.
There are three separate documents in this release:
Document | Description |
San Francisco Supervisor District Profiles | A narrative report on supervisorial district characteristics and a citywide summary |
San Francisco Supervisor Districts At A Glance | Summary sheets for each supervisorial districts with key statistics |
San Francisco Neighborhoods Socio-Economic Profiles | A report of summary sheets on San Francisco's neighborhoods |

Questions should go to Johnny Jaramillo or Aksel Olsen, both with the Information and Analysis Group.
