The Committee will review draft letter to HSA regarding the family shelter wait list.

B. United Council’s Shelter Letter       Chair Kimura 15 min
The Committee will review draft letter supporting the proposed Bayview shelter.
Public Comment will be heard before the proposed action.

A. 2014 Calendar        Chair Kimura 15 min
The Committee will review the draft 2014 Calendar and make any needed changes or edits.

B. Security Guards at Shelters       Chair Kimura 30 min
The Committee will discuss concerns and complaints that they have received regarding security guards at the shelter, specifically growing complaints from female clients that they are being searched by male guards. The security guards are not under the scope of the individual sites but the Human Services Agency.
Public Comment will be heard before the proposed action.
Proposed Action: Approve next steps

The Committee will put forward any items discussed during the meeting requiring an Information Request from a City & County of San Francisco agency or contracted agency. The Committee will also review the response from past Information Requests.

Accessible curbside parking is available on Oak and Hickory Streets.

The ringing of and use of cell phones, pagers, and similar sound producing electronic devices are prohibited at this meeting. Please be advised that the Chair may order the removal from the meeting room of any person(s) responsible for the ringing or use of a cell phone, pager or other similar sound-producing electronic devices.
