The meeting was called to order at 4:10 p.m.  Member Manneh was noted absent.  There was a quorum.  Member Manneh was noted present at 4:17 p.m.

 

2.    Sunshine Ordinance Task Force Outreach to City Agencies (00:45 - 07:18)

Chair Costa provided an overview of prior objectives to obtain best methods to contact proper City agency representatives, in order to educate City agencies on the provisions of the Sunshine Ordinance on an ongoing basis and to keep repeat agency violators in compliance.  To build relationships with their records contacts, Member West discussed compiling a list of agencies’ Custodians and a list of best practices for handling Sunshine complaints in a timely, efficient manner.  Sunshine Ordinance Task Force Administrator will supply a list of agency contacts.

 

3.    Public Comment (07:18 - 22:59)

David Pilpel; expressed suggestions on outreach practices and available lists of City agency representatives.

 

4.    Announcements, Comments, Questions, and Future Agenda Items (23:00. - 27:33)

Chair Costa indicated a vote on the division of labor and responsibility among Members for the Sunshine Ordinance Task Force Outreach project to take at the next meeting; consideration of changing the regularly scheduled meetings of Education, Outreach and Training Committee; to research a complainant case that was to be scheduled as an item for Education, Outreach and Training Committee, according to the December and/or January special meeting minutes.
