Chair Kennelly called the meeting to order at 5:41pm.

3.  Action Item: Approval of previous minutes

1.  Approval of March 22, 2017 Executive Committee Meeting Minutes 

Chair Kennelly tabled this item review the March 22, 2017 Executive Committee Meeting Minutes due to lack of quorum.

4. New Business

Chair Kennelly reported to the Committee on a news recording with Anni Chung that will air on June 4^th on Channel 26, KTSF Chinese Journal. Chair Kennelly added that the Commission is welcome to return to record PSAs on the station in the future.

5.  Old Business

1. IRC 20^th  Anniversary Planning

Led by Chair Kennelly, the Executive Committee and Special Event Planning committee

conducted a discussion on the IRC’s 20^th Anniversary Celebration and Inaugural Immigrant

Leadership Awards. The discussion items included catering, performers, award recipients and

program details.

2. Commission Scheduling

(Information/Discussion/Action)

Chair Kennelly led a discussion on upcoming scheduling for both the Full Commission and

Executive Committee. The Executive Committee came to a consensus to cancel the July 2017

meetings for both the Full Commission and Executive Committee, and to reconvene in August 2017.

3. Director/Staff Report

(Information/Discussion)

Director Pon provided reported on upcoming events for the Office of Civic Engagement and

Immigrant Affairs.

6.  Adjournment

Chair Kennelly adjourned the meeting to order at 7:27 pm.
