A. Executive Director''s Report Executive Director Murase Explanatory document: The Executive Director’s Report discusses the work of the Department based on the Commission’s Strategic Plan which reflects the principles of the UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW).

All matters listed hereunder constitute a Consent Agenda and are considered to be routine by the Commission on the Status of Women. They will be acted upon by a single roll call vote of the Commission. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a member of the Commission so requests, in which event the matter shall be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered as a separate item. Members of the public may speak on each item listed on the Consent Agenda.

A. Overview of La Casa de las Madres “Later in Life” Program Addressing Violence 15 min.
Against Older Women
Staff from La Casa de las Madres will provide an overview of the “End Abuse Later in Life Training Project.”

B. Women’s Foundation Initiative on Older Women 15 min.
Karla Rodriguez of the Women’s Foundation will provide an overview of the Women''s Foundation''s Elder Women''s Initiative.

C. Older Women’s League 15 min.
Jonee Levy, Co-Vice President, will present information the organization and their policy priorities.

VIII. PUBLIC COMMENT DISCUSSION 5 min.
This item is to allow members of the public to comment generally on matters within the Commission’s purview as well as to suggest new agenda items for Commission’s future consideration.
