Executive Director Murase will review the strategic plan goals in light of staffing reduction.

A. Update on Claire Joyce Tempongko Domestic Violence Homicide 10 min.
Assistant District Attorney Liz Aguilar-Tarchi, will provide a briefing about the State Appellate Court decision to overturn the murder conviction of Tari Ramirez in the Tempongko case.

B. Website for Commission Vacancies 10 min.
Commission Secretary Cynthia Vasquez will provide an update on the new website for Commission vacancies, following a brief background by Senior Gender Policy Analyst Anu Menon.

VIII. PUBLIC COMMENT DISCUSSION 5 min.
This item is to allow members of the public to comment generally on matters within the Commission’s purview as well as to suggest new agenda items for Commission’s future consideration.

IX. ADJOURNMENT ACTION 1 min.
Adjourn the meeting. At the request of Vice President Soo, the meeting will be adjourned in honor of the survivors of the northern Japan earthquake and tsunami.
