Explanatory document: The Executive Director’s Report discusses the work of the Department based on the Commission’s Strategic Plan which reflects the principles of the U.N. Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW).
IV. CONSENT AGENDA DISCUSSION/ACTION 15 min.
All matters listed hereunder constitute a Consent Agenda and are considered to be routine by the Commission on the Status of Women. They will be acted upon by a single roll call vote of the Commission. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a member of the Commission so requests, in which event the matter shall be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered as a separate item. Director, Nancy Alfaro will provide an overview of data generated from the 311 Directory Service for all City services. She has been instrumental in the creation of the online data base for Commissions and Boards, as well as a crime victim resources website available at www.sf311.org
B. Woman Inc. 20 min.
Roberta Toomer, Executive Director and Mariya Taher, Content Coordinator, of Woman Inc., will provide an overview of the Domestic Violence Information and Referral Center.

Commissioners can report on activities related to the work of the Commission.
VII. PUBLIC COMMENT DISCUSSION 5 min.
This item is to allow members of the public to comment generally on matters within the Commission’s purview as well as to suggest new agenda items for Commission’s future consideration.
