Explanatory document: The Executive Director’s Report discusses the work of the Department based on the Commission’s Strategic Plan which reflects the principles of the U.N. Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW).
IV. CONSENT AGENDA DISCUSSION/ACTION 10 min.
All matters listed hereunder constitute a Consent Agenda and are considered to be routine by the Commission on the Status of Women. They will be acted upon by a single roll call vote of the Commission. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a member of the Commission so requests, in which event the matter shall be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered as a separate item. Members of the public may speak on each item listed on the Consent Agenda.

Stacey Hoang will provide a report on the 2011 Gender Analysis of Boards and Commissions.
B. Breast Feeding Coalition Presentation 20 min.
Magdalene Louie, WIC Program Coordinator with the Department of Public Health and Grace Lee, Breastfeeding Coordinator with the Department of Public Health will provide an overview of the Coalition and provide information on the Workplace Lactation Accommodation Forum that is being planned.
C. Glide – Women’s Center 20 min.
Zwazzi Sowo, Executive Director of the Women’s Center will provide an overview of services provided.
VI. Reports 25 min.
