NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING:

MEETING TO CONSIDER AMENDING THE BYLAWS OF THE ENTERTAINMENT COMMISSION

TUESDAY, August 2, 2016 - 5:30 P.M., CITY HALL, ROOM 416

At its regular meeting on August 2, 2016, City Hall Room 416, 5:30 p.m., the Entertainment Commission will consider amending the Commission Bylaws to remove the three-year term limit for the President of the Commission, which currently appears in Article II, Section 1(g) of the Bylaws.  The amendment would instead provide that there is no limit to the number of times a Commissioner may serve as President or Vice President of the Commission.

The Entertainment Commission will consider the following agenda item: 

Discussion and possible action to amend the Bylaws of the Entertainment Commission to remove the three-year term limit for the President of the Commission in Article II, Section 1(g) of the Bylaws (ACTION)

Persons attending the hearing and those unable to attend may submit written comments regarding the subject of the hearing.  Such comments will be made part of the official public record and will be brought to the attention of the Commission.  Written comments should be submitted to the Entertainment Commission c/o Jocelyn Kane, Entertainment Commission, Room 453 City Hall, 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place, San Francisco, CA 94102.

Copies of the proposed amendment to the Bylaws are available on the Commission’s website (www.sfgov.org/entertainment), and will be available at the August 2, 2016 meeting.
