COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: Dori Caminong (Vice President) (excused absence), Laura Thomas (excused absence)

1. General Public Comment

2. Approval of Meeting Minutes.  Discussion and possible action to approve the minutes of the February 1, 2022 Commission meeting. [Discussion and Possible Action Item]

MOTION: Commissioner Falzon motioned to approve the meeting minutes; Commissioner Wang seconded the motion.

ACTION: The Commission approved the February 1, 2022 meeting minutes.

AYES: President Bleiman, Commissioner Lee, Commissioner Perez, Commissioner Falzon, Commissioner Wang

NAYS: None

3. Report from Executive Director: Legislative/Policy Update: Update on any Health Order changes; Staff and Office Update: Update on staffing changes; Update on Board of Appeals Actions: none; Corrective Actions: none. [Discussion Item]

4. Report from Deputy Director: Deputy Director Kaitlyn Azevedo reports on recent enforcement activities. [Discussion Item]

5. Hearing and Possible Action regarding applications for permits under the jurisdiction of the Entertainment Commission. [Discussion and Possible Action Item]  

Consent Calendar:

All matters listed hereunder constitute a Consent Calendar, are considered to be routine by the Entertainment Commission, and will be acted upon by a single roll call vote of the Commission.  There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a member of the Commission, the public, or staff so requests, in which event the matter shall be removed from the Consent Calendar and considered as a separate item at this or a future hearing.

Consent Agenda:

1. EC-1621 - Moy Eng of Community Arts Stabilization Trust, dba Community Arts Stabilization Trust, 447 Minna St 4^th Fl., Limited Live Performance permit

Public Comment: None

Motion: Commissioner Perez made a motion to approve the Consent Agenda with staff recommendations; Commissioner Lee seconded the motion.

Action: The Commission approved the Consent Agenda with staff recommendations.

Ayes: President Bleiman, Commissioner Falzon, Commissioner Lee, Commissioner Perez, Commission Wang was no longer at the meeting

Regular Agenda:

1. JAM-540 – dba Valencia Corridor Merchants Association, for outdoor entertainment and amplified sound for one-time events on 02/26/2022, 03/12/2022, 03/26/2022, 04/09/2022, 04/23/2022, 05/14/2022, 05/28/2022, 06/11/2022, and 06/25/2022, located on Valencia Street between 16^th Street and 21^st Street.

Public Comment: None

Motion: Commissioner Perez made a motion to approve the permit with staff recommendations; Commissioner Lee seconded the motion.

Action: The Commission approved the permit with staff recommendations.

2. EC-1622 – Emily Pharr of Southeast Community Center, dba Southeast Community Center, 1550 Evans Ave, Place of Entertainment permit

Public Comment: None

Motion: Commissioner Falzon made a motion to approve the permit with staff recommendations and for the center to send their event calendar to Bayview Station and the Entertainment Commission as they are made available; Commissioner Perez seconded the motion.

Action: The Commission approved the permit with staff recommendations and Commissioner Falzon’s amendments.

6. Discussion and possible action to amend the permit conditions of Place of Entertainment permit #EC-1034, dba 26 Mix located at 3024 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94108, regarding incident that occurred on Friday, January 21, 2022.  [Discussion and Possible Action Item]

7. Consideration and possible action to adopt a resolution making findings to allow teleconferenced meetings under California Government Code Section 54953(e). [Discussion and Possible Action Item]

Public Comment: None

Motion: Commissioner Falzon made a motion to adopt the resolution; Commissioner Perez seconded the motion.

Action: The Commission adopted the resolution.
