MOTION: Commissioner Caminong moved to approve the February 4, 2020 minutes, Commissioner Perez seconded the motion.
ACTION: Approved Minutes for February, 2020.

ACTION: Inspector Fiorentino responded to 311 complaint the following Friday. Loud karaoke and live DJ upon arrival. He spoke with people hosting party about noise complaints and got their contact information. He asked them to turn down the volume and explained they needed a permit. Deputy Director Azevedo reached out to explain permitting process and forwarded complaints to City Attorney who contacted property owner. If we find entertainment again we will issue citation.

ACTION: Inspector Fiorentino responded to 311 complaints the following Friday and made a sound measurement that showed venue operating in compliance.
Sun 2/9/2020 12:41:34 AM Arena SF 2565 Mission St POE MISSION Bass is vibrating our building to the point where I can hear it through my pillow. last night it was irritating enough that I just stayed up until 2am for it to stop so I could sleep in peace. tonight I can still hear it another room deeper into our apartment (through outside door and two inside doors). I'm all for venues in the 'hood but this is not cool.
ACTION: Inspector Fiorentino responded to 311 complaint. He took a sound test near DJ booth and found them operating above their sound limit. He brought the volume down and took another sound test downstairs that showed compliance. Observed that front doors were propped open. Spoke with new manager about history of complaints, sound levels, and keeping front door shut. Director Weiland issued a citation on 2/11/20 for exceeding sound limit and door being open.
Sun 2/9/2020 11:13:11 PM El Trebol 709 Capp St LLP MISSION El trebol bar blasting those Sunday banda beats again. Wish I could sleep.
ACTION: Inspector Fiorentino conducted a site visit the previous night and found their door open; spoke with manager who closed the door and then 10-minutes later it was open again. Inspector Fiorentino drove by the next night and door was open again. Deputy Director Azevedo issued a notice of violation on 2/12/20 for continually having door open.

PUBLIC COMMENT:
+ Male speaker in support of the venue and stated the venue was a very warm and friendly and unique venue space in San Francisco.
+ Barbara Attard is a San Francisco native and she has attended the venue for years and it was a great place to hear music and they have great food. She added the owners have done a great job with the business.
+ Ginger Murry is a bartender at the venue she loves working at there because it was a special venue and the patrons are respected and cared for which makes it a special place.
MOTION: Commissioner Caminong moved to approve with the staff recommendation, Commissioner Perez seconded the motion.
ACTION: The Place of Entertainment permit was conditionally granted to the applicant.
