Report from Executive Director: Legislative/Policy Update: nothing to report; Staff and Office Update: Update on President Bleiman, Director Weiland, and OEWD Business Development Manager Ben Van Houten’s trip to Philadelphia for Responsible Hospitality Institute’s Annual International Sociable City Summit 2019; Update on Board of Appeals Actions: nothing to report; Corrective Actions: nothing to report. 4. Report from Senior Inspector: Senior Inspector Sean Burke reports on recent venue inspections and activities. [Discussion Item]

 

5. Report from the Senior Analyst: Dylan Rice gives updates on BOS File No. 190109 which would amend Police Code to establish procedures for the Office of Cannabis to issue permits authorizing cannabis consumption and sales in connection with temporary events, and education initiatives for the outdoor event industry. [Discussion Item]

 

6. Police Department Comments & Questions. This item allows any member of the SFPD to address the Commission regarding matters related to nightlife and public safety. [Discussion Item]

 

7. Hearing and Possible Action regarding applications for permits under the jurisdiction of the Entertainment Commission. [Discussion and Possible Action Item]

  Room 416 is wheelchair accessible.
