5. Report from Executive Director: Executive Director Maggie Weiland provides an update on current Entertainment Commission data, accomplishments, goals, and COVID response. [Discussion Item]

6. Update on the City’s Economy: Ted Egan, Chief Economist with the Office of the Controller, provides an update on the City’s economy during the COVID-19 crisis and impacts on the entertainment and nightlife industry. [Discussion Item]

7. Update on Nightlife Business Assistance in Response to COVID-19: Ben Van Houten, Business Development Manager, Nightlife and Entertainment Sector with the Office of Economic and Workforce Development provides an Update on Nightlife Business Assistance in response to COVID-19. [Discussion Item]

8. Advancing Entertainment Commission Goals based on Working Group Priorities: Three working groups will participate in break-out sessions to set goals and priorities for their respective groups, and report back their initial action plans to the entire group:

 

 

o Group #1: Executive Working Group

o Group #2: Police Code clean-up Working Group

o Group #3: Entertainment Recovery Working Group
