MOTION: Commissioner Caminong moved to approve the October 1, 2019 minutes, Commissioner Lee seconded the motion.

4. Report from Deputy Director: Deputy Director Kaitlyn Azevedo reports on recent venue inspections and activities. [Discussion item]  
 
Tues 10/1/2019  11:13:53 PM The Alembic 1725 Haight St N/A PARK Loud music playing. ACTION: Inspector Savino responded to 311 complaint the following Thursday. They do not have live entertainment. He let the manager know about the sound complaints and suggested closing their door. 
 
Fri 10/4/2019  9:44:54 PM Cava 22 3239 22nd St N/A Mission Inspector Savino went to Cava 22 to obtain contact information. He talked to manager in charge who would not give the owner's contact info. He explained that owner needs to reach out to EC staff because we are getting sound complaints about their unpermitted entertainment.
 
Fri 10/11/2019  7:51:36 PM 3910 Lounge 3910 Geary POE, MAD Richmond Inspector Fiorentino conducted a routine site inspection. Closed for business indefinitely. 
 
Sat 10/12/2019  7:49:59 PM Hotel Bijou 111 Mason n/a Tenderloin Inspector Fiorentino followed up on a complaint that was sent to SFPD Tenderloin Station regarding their outdoor speakers. He got contact info for manager and speakers were off upon arrival.
 
5. Police Department Comments & Questions. This item allows any member of the SFPD to address the Commission regarding matters related to nightlife and public safety. [Discussion Item]

MOTION: Commissioner Falzon moved to approve the consent agenda, Commissioner Caminong seconded the motion.
 
ACTION: The Consent agenda was approved and all Limited Live Performance permits were conditionally granted to the applicants.

Regular Agenda:
a) ECOTE-19-086 – Raymond Sullivan of the Fisherman's Wharf Community Benefit District, dba 7th Annual Wharf Fest, located in the triangle lot closest to 43 ½ The Embarcadero on Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 10:30AM-9PM. Applicant requesting to exceed outdoor amplified sound regulations (MPC 1060.16(b)(3)).
 
Staff recommendation:  Approval with Good Neighbor Policy.

+ Raymond Sullivan, Fisherman Wharf Community Benefit District.
 
PUBLIC COMMENT: Stefano Cassolato commended Randall and Rachel from the Community Benefit District of Fisherman’s Wharf. He said events like this help the merchants and keeps the vibrancy, it also gives both locals and tourists a reason to come down. He added the Wharf Fest would be a successful event.
 
MOTION: Commissioner Falzon moved to approve with the staff recommendations of the Good Neighbor Policy and SFPD recommendation, Commissioner Caminong seconded the motion.
 
ACTION: The One Time Outdoor Entertainment Permit was granted to the applicant.
