1. General Public Comment

2. Approval of Meeting Minutes.  Discussion and possible action to approve the minutes of the October 6, 2020 Commission meeting. [Discussion and Possible Action Item]

MOTION: Commissioner Thomas moved to approve the October 6, 2020 minutes, Commissioner Falzon seconded the motion.

 

ACTION: Approved Minutes for October 6, 2020.

 

AYES: Commissioner Caminong, Commissioner Thomas, Commissioner Bleiman, Commissioner Lee, Commissioner Falzon, Commissioner Perez, Commissioner Wang 

 

NAYS: None
 

3. Report from Executive Director: Legislative/Policy Update: Update on the City and County of San Francisco’s Just Add Music (JAM) Permit; Staff and Office Update: none; Update on Board of Appeals Actions: none; Corrective Actions: none. [Discussion Item]

4. Report from Deputy Director: Deputy Director Kaitlyn Azevedo reports on recent venue inspections and activities. [Discussion Item] 

 

5. Hearing and Possible Action regarding applications for permits under the jurisdiction of the Entertainment Commission. [Discussion and Possible Action Item] 

Regular Agenda: 

 

a) EC-1584 – Ghazi Shami of Layaly, LLC, dba TBD, 1501 Folsom St., Place of Entertainment and Extended Hours Premises Permits – change in ownership. 

 

SPEAKERS: + Ghazi Shami, Layaly LLC.

MOTION: Commissioner Caminong moved to approve the Place of Entertainment and Extended Hours Permit – change in ownership with staff’s recommended conditions and the Good Neighbor Policy, Commissioner Lee seconded the motion. 

ACTION: Place of Entertainment Commission and Extended Hours Permit -change in Ownership was conditionally granted to the applicant.  

AYES: Commissioner Lee, Commissioner Perez, Commissioner Caminong, Commissioner Thomas, Commissioner Falzon, Commissioner Wang, Commissioner Bleiman
