6. Hearing and Possible Action regarding applications for permits under the jurisdiction of the Entertainment Commission. [Discussion and Possible Action Item]Â Â

MOTION: Commissioner Thomas made a motion to approve with conditions requested by permittee; Commissioner Perez seconded the motion.

ACTION: The Commission approved the permittee’s requested change to the conditions of their Just Add Music permit.

Discussion and Possible Action to adopt written comments and/or recommendations to be submitted by the Executive Director to the Planning Department and/or Department of Building Inspection regarding noise issues for proposed residential projects per Chapter 116 of the of the Administrative Code. [Discussion and Possible Action Item]

Discussion and possible action to adopt written comments and/or recommendations regarding noise issues for the proposed residential project at 425 Broadway, which is located within 300 feet of Vanity SF, Broadway Studios + FAME Venue, Hue, Bamboo Hut, Horizon, and The Cosmo Bar and Lounge, permitted Places of Entertainment.

MOTION: Commissioner Bleiman made a motion to submit staff recommendations to the Planning Department; Commissioner Thomas seconded the motion.

ACTION: The Commission approved the proposed residential project with standard conditions and staff recommendations.Â

+ Corey Smith from the Housing Action Coalition expressed his support for the project as it turns parking spaces into more apartments for people to live which he stated is what the City needs.
