Tony Savino

Tony SavinoTony Savino is an inspector with the San Francisco Entertainment Commission. Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Tony fell in love with California 13 years ago while studying International Business at San Diego State University. After graduation, he left for Spain to receive his Masters in Global Entertainment and Music Business from the Berklee College of Music in Valencia. To finish the program, Tony moved to New Orleans to intern with a music festival production company, HUKA Entertainment, and to work with Bowery Presents at the new Civic Theater. Since moving to San Francisco 3 years ago, he has managed the historic Boom Boom Room on Fillmore as well as the Redwood Room in the Clift Hotel. When he’s not working, Tony enjoys producing independent music documentaries and has interviewed artists such as Florence + the Machine, Tame Impala, Ice Cube, Alabama Shakes, The Chainsmokers, Alt-J, Run the Jewels, Of Monsters and Men, Tyler the Creator, and many more. Tony is excited to be a part of the Entertainment Commission team to further promote San Francisco’s nightlife ecosystem and ensure the city’s entertainment sector continues to thrive.
