Requests for public comment may also be heard after Commission discussion of an agenda item by completing an information card and submitting it to the Commission Secretary. Requests are given “first come first serve” priority and speakers may be limited to three minutes.

1) Call to Order
2) Roll Call
3) Announcement: The Sunshine Ordinance prohibits the use of electronic sound-producing devices at/during public meetings. Please be advised that the meeting chair may remove any person (s) responsible for the ringing or use of cell phones, pagers and similar sound-producing electronic devices from the meeting room.
4) Public Comment: Members of the public may address the Commission on matters under the jurisdiction of the Commission that is not on today’s agenda. (Limited to three minutes)
The goal of the Health and Housing Committee is to advocate, promote, and increase the awareness of health problems, i.e. obesity and diabetes, prostate, cervical and breast cancer, asthma, environmental hazards, etc. affecting Bayview Hunters Point residents.
5) Planning for the SECFC Annual Health Fair (Discussion and possible action)
a. Discuss and make recommendation to Commission for date of Health Fair.
Suggested dates: September 29th or October 13th, 2012
b. Review last year’s budget and recommend projected budget to fund 2012 Southeast Community Facility Health Fair.
c. Review and update and adopt with edits the Committees and division of labor.
d. Review and adopt with edits the booth participation and sponsors forms.
e. Review last year’s list of donors and add new possible donors for the 2012 Health Fair.
f. Review and edit the Health Fair flyer, poster, and pre-event media (email, social network, SFPUC Currents web page, WWE newsletter, local newspapers)
g. For this year’s theme add AIDS and Hepatitis B.
