Requests for public comment may also be heard after Commission discussion of an agenda item by completing an information card and submitting it to the Commission Secretary.  Requests are given ‘first come first serve’ priority and speakers may be limited to three minutes.

 

AGENDA

 

1.  CALL TO ORDER

 

2.  ADOPTION OF MINUTES:

PROPOSED ACTION:  Be it resolved that the minutes of the Committee meeting of Monday, September 8, 2014, be approved as submitted.

 

3. PUBLIC COMMENT, LIMITED TO 3 MINUTES: Members of the public may address the Committee up to three minutes on matters under the jurisdiction of the Committee not on today’s agenda.  Speakers shall address their remarks to the Committee as a whole and not individual Commissioners or Department staff.  This portion of the agenda is not intended for debate or discussion with the Committee or staff.  Please simply state your business or matter you wish the Committee or staff to be aware of.  It is not appropriate for Commissioners or staff to engage in a debate or respond on issues not properly set in a public noticed agenda.  If you have questions or would like to bring a matter/issue to the Committees attention, please contact the Commission Secretary after the meeting at (415) 821-1534 and/or Cvaughn@sfwater.org.

 

4.  ANNOUNCEMENTS

The SECFC 7th Annual Health Fair will be held Saturday, October 4th in the Alex Pitcher Community Room from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The next scheduled meeting for the SECFC Facility Advisory Committee (TBA).

 

5.  TOPIC & DISCUSSION

Follow-up discussion of concerns voiced at the September 8th meeting as well as written concerns suggestions received since.

Review of revised Rules and Regulations for the use of the SECFC/Alex Pitcher Jr. Community Room by tenants, residents, community based organizations and government agencies including current Repast Policy;

“Repast at the Alex Pitcher Community Facility Room be uplifted/allowed repast on the condition that the event planners secure the service of SFPD for $86 per hour for a minimum of 4 hours, in addition to paying for the service of SECFC approved Independent Contractual Monitors at $14 per hour.If the event planners are unable to pay the amount the SECFC staff will refer them to another similar agency that provides community room services”.

ADOPTED October 15, 2010 by the Southeast Community Facility Commission.

 

6. PROPOSED ACTION:

RECOMMENDATION TO THE FULL COMMISSION (Action)

a). Adoption of Revised Rules & Regulations for the Repast Policy as stated above.

 

7. ADJOURNMENT
