7. Dooring Fatality (Discussion)  Bert Hill: The recent death of Tess Rothstein brought to light the precarious position of untrained bicyclists on streets with poorly designed bike lanes.  Anecdotally, a surprising number of bicyclists report doorings, although there is no indication of enforcement of CVC22517.

 

8. Resolution in Support of the TDA (Transportation Development Act) request for FY 2017/18 – (Resolution) – Angela Alter: Request for review and resolution of support for projects to be funded by TDA Article 3 State grant funds from the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) in FY 2019-20.

 

9. Establishment of a Facebook Page for BAC (Discussion) – KristinTieche: Proposal to create and maintain a Facebook page for the BAC, and listing meetings as events on FB to generate more interest and participation from public

10. Improving Safety on California Street – (Resolution) – KristinTieche: California Street, from 18th Avenue to Arguello – has been identified as part of the High Injury Network in Vision Zero SF documentation. Yet it’s one of the few streets in The Richmond District that lacks a comprehensive plan to fix its dangerous conditions.
