Can't afford to pay your BART proof of payment citation?

BART iconIf you were 18 or older when you received a Proof of Payment Citation, you can have your citation dismissed by performing 5 hours of community service at an organization of your choice.

Step 1: Request community service and select the organization where you will volunteer

To request community service and select the organization where you will volunteer, request and complete the Community Service Work Waiver of Liability form, available at: citationprocessingcenter.com/CitationSearch

Step 2: Complete your 5 hours of community service and submit verification to BART

After completing your 5 hours of community service, submit the verification form by mail or in-person to BART Police Department within 8 weeks from the date of the citation.
