The set will be designed to be packed up and fit into a truck so that it can move around to different sites to set up for children to use. SF Street Smarts will be a sole source project utilizing the design expertise from the designer of the LA Street Smarts project. Public Comment: |
Carol Isen, I am really quite disturbed…that the Commission didn’t cut this off and take the matter into closed session. I feel my name was badly maligned…I am not sure what the remedies are here…I would hope that you would…excerpt that entirely from the record and remove it. I don’t think it belongs there. It was not the subject of the investigation. Second, I have this to say to … Darin, we did work closely together. I think he has a very bright future. I think he is a good worker; he is a hard worker and it’s more than a little distressing to hear that the stresses that happened in the workplace every single day …have devolved into a set of unsubstantiated distressing comments about every one of his co-workers; and I think we need to have some type of remedy for all those people who were named...including and specially myself. |

Mark Buchsieb, Mr. Conley should have been given the full due process before this Commission, to prepare for this and he was not. He did not receive these documents until the 29th of February. It should have been received by Mr. Conley on the 19th. We spent 30 hours creating this document for the Commissioners, which is not now being admitted. I myself am witness to one of these allegations. I was not interviewed by Britt Strottman. I was asked and produced a letter, and said, “If you have any questions about this please I am happy to talk with you.”…She did not email me after that. This was multiple allegations in a very short amount of time. You should use the protective status of the person who experienced that discrimination as the basis to consider if it’s severe. Ms. Callahan is a white woman, Britt Strottman is a white woman and I don’t think that it was given the appropriate weight. |
