SAVE THE DATE

The Mayor’s Disability Council Virtual Public Meeting on June 18, 2021, will be focused on getting around in the City’s streets, an important concern now that people are spending more time out of their homes. San Francisco continues work to make the streets safe, especially for pedestrians, and the City has also created new ways for streets to function in some neighborhoods. At this meeting, MDC members and the public will have a chance to find out what this means for people with disabilities.

Presentations that will be included:

“Overview of the Slow Streets Program” Shannon Hake, Slow Streets Program Manager, SFMTA

“Vision Zero Action Strategy” Ryan Reeves, Vision Zero Program Manager, SFMTA

This virtual meeting will be broadcast on SFGov.TV cable stations 26 and 78, and may be viewed online at https://sfgovtv.org/

Captioning and sign language interpretation provided.

A detailed agenda, along with specific instructions for viewing the meeting and participating in public comment, will be distributed by email and posted on the MOD website at least one week before the meeting. Director’s reports can be found in the “Public Notices and Meetings” section of the MDC website.

We hope to see you there.
