Mayor Lee’s Statement on San Francisco Redevelopment Agency’s Selection of Tiffany Bohee as Interim Director
Mayor Edwin M. Lee today issued the following statement on San Francisco Redevelopment Agency Commission’s selection of Tiffany Bohee as Interim Director to replace outgoing Director Fred Blackwell:
“I applaud the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency Commission for moving quickly to select Tiffany Bohee as Interim Director ensuring consistent leadership at a crucial time for San Francisco’s Redevelopment Agency.
Tiffany Bohee has more than a decade of experience overseeing major projects in San Francisco, having worked in both the Redevelopment Agency and the City’s Office of Economic Workforce Development. Her leadership in developing, approving, and now implementing plans to redevelop the Bayview Hunters Point Shipyard and Candlestick Point are crucial to fulfilling a promise to our communities and creating jobs in San Francisco.
The Commission’s selection of Tiffany Bohee ensures that our footprint for economic development and redevelopment will be implemented in a professional and timely manner and that the Redevelopment Agency will remain accountable to the public.”
