A Message from the Mayor

As we reflect on all the good work we’ve done together over the past seven years, we embrace that we are a City in transformation, a leader in innovation and an economic engine, an epicenter for arts and culture, and home to more new residents than ever before. Despite this rapid pace of growth and change, we hold tightly to our traditional values of diversity and compassion, and our small town character that connects each street, alleyway, and building to the rich history that is San Francisco. We are not just 49 square miles of urban living, we are a celebration of culture and inclusion mixed with 21st century progress. I am proud of the work we have done together as a City, bound by our values and with an eye toward the future.
