Socio-Economic Profiles Released for Neighborhoods
This is the second neighborhood profile the Planning Department has released since the Census Bureau transitioned to the American Community Survey, a year-round sample of around 7,000 households per year for San Francisco. These data are on a rolling five-year basis released yearly at the census tract level, providing the detail that the "long form" in the decennial censuses used to provide.Â

Property Information Map Wins Award
SF Planning was presented the ‘Government-to-Citizen, Local Government’ award for our popular tool, the Property Information Map. It was recently honored at the annual Digital Government Achievement Awards hosted by the Center of Digital Government, an award program open to government agencies around the world.
Officially launched in April 2011, the Property Information Map gives the general public access to a wealth of property information simply by entering an address.
