Youth Commission
MissionThe Youth Commission is a body of 17 youth from San Francisco between the ages of 12 and 23. Created by the voters under a 1995 amendment to the City Charter, the commission is responsible for advising the Board of Supervisors and the Mayor on policies and laws related to young people. The Youth Commission is also charged with providing comment and recommendation on all proposed laws that would primarily affect youth before the Board takes final action. DreamSF Fellowship 2024 Application
The DreamSF Fellowship is back for the 11th year connecting immigrant students and aspiring professionals with social justice change-makers in the Bay Area! With the DreamSF Fellowship, fellows gain hands-on experience in direct services, advocacy, content creation, immigration law careers, program management, paralegal work, healing creative expression, community organizing and much more.
The DreamSF Fellowship welcomes applications from anyone who meets the minimum qualifications. Candidates can apply regardless of immigration status. We prioritize submissions from applications with an undocumented experience.

DCYF Nutrition Program
DCYF has released the 2024 Summer Meals and 2024-2025 Afterschool Meals Program application.
The Summer and Afterschool Meal Programs are federally-funded child nutrition programs designed to provide free meals for all children and youth ages 18 and under when school is not in session.
Please note that this application is for sites requesting meals at non-SFUSD school sites. For sites located at a SFUSD schools, please apply at this link.
