Drew Min

Representing Youth Citywide

Appointed by Mayor Breed

Drew Min is a resident of District 1 and a mayoral appointee to the San Francisco Youth Commission. He is currently a sophomore at City College studying Political Science and plans to transfer by the end of the year. Brought up in a family with a strong emphasis on values such as public service, integrity, and a love of country, his original dream was to be a U.S Marine Officer. However, his Diabetes Type 1 turned out to be a medical disqualification from the Armed Forces. Not letting that disappointment hinder his passion to serve, he has directed all his focus on civil service instead. Currently, he is a part of the Student Government of City College Ocean Campus, serve on this year's Civil Grand Jury, volunteer as a facilitator for Josie's Place for Bereaved Children with Grief, and as a Disaster Action Team member for the Red Cross. In his free time, he is an uncle, a guitarist, an avid reader, Raiders football fan, and a lover of history.
