1. Call to Order and Roll Call
Chair Bernick meeting was called to order at 5:40 pm. Commissioners present: Jillian Wu, Anna Bernick, Anna He. Commissioners Absent: Noah David. Staff present: Adele Carpenter and Allen Lu. There was quorum.
There was no public comment.
2. Approval of Agenda (Action Item)
Commissioner Wu, seconded by Commissioner He, moved to approve the agenda. There was no public comment. The motion was approved by acclamation.
3. Approval of Minutes (Action Item)

Commissioner He, seconded by Commissioner Wu, moved to approve the October 22, 2015 Minutes. There was no public comment. The motion was approved by acclamation.

B. Outreach updates
a. Appointing officials
Commissioner He and staff shared that Commissioner David has drafted some bullets to email elected officials. Commissioner He shared that she will follow up with her colleague since he has been out of town. There was no public comment.
b. SFUSD
SAC Representatives Iris Morell and Jack Ng updated the committee on their committee’s efforts and priorities for the year. They and the commissioners brainstormed questions to ask the Board of Education about. The representatives shared the SAC’s support of expanding voting rights to 16 and 17 year olds. The representatives and commissioners spoke about outreach, awareness, registration, curriculum, and prepared for their meeting with members of the board of Education who will be coming to their next committee meeting. There was no public comment.
c. Nov. 7th Civic Tech Challenge
Commissioners and YEA applicants attended the challenge, and provided a brief update to the committee. There was no public comment.
d. Other recent presentations
There were none. There was no public comment.
C. Preparation for upcoming presentations/workshops
a. T4SJ
Commissioner Wu and Director Carpenter prepared for the meeting with Teachers for Social Justice. There was no public comment.
b. Youth Art Exchange YAB
Commissioners He, Bernick, Wu, and YEA applicant Lorelei shared their interest to attend. There was no public comment.
c. Meeting with Board of Education members
SAC representatives and Lorelei shared their availability to attend the meeting. The committee asked staff to share a briefing document. There was no public comment.
d. Other upcoming presentations
The committee discussed attendance at Victory over Violence on December 12, and the Future America Radio Show. There was no public comment.
D. Review committee priorities and schedule Winter training
The committee asked staff to send out an email to all the applicants to determine their availability. Commissioner He volunteered to spearhead the planning committee for the Winter Training. There was no public comment.
6. Staff Report
Staff shared upcoming transitions. There was no public comment.
7. Executive Committee Report
Commissioner Wu updated the committee on the election of the new Outreach and Media Officer, Jessica Calderon. She also encouraged everyone to read the OCOF Data Report. There was no public comment.
8. Adjournment
The meeting was adjourned at 6:53 pm.
