1. Call to Order and Roll Call

 

Committee Chair Wu called the meeting to order at 5:20 p.m. Commissioners present: Joyce Wu, David Zheng, Luis Avalos, Michel Li. Commissioners Absent: Emily Guo, with an approved leave of absence. There was quorum. Staff present:  Monica Guzman.

2. Approval of Agenda (Action Item)

 

There was no public comment. Commissioner Avalos, seconded by Commissioner Zheng, moved to approve the agenda. This motion was approved by acclamation.

3. Approval of Minutes (Action Item)

There was no public comment. Commissioner Zheng, seconded by Commissioner Avalos, moved to approve the minutes of June 11, 2015. The motion was approved by acclamation.

A. Kinetic Konnection Youth Town Hall Follow-Up / Report Writing

The committee discussed the report they presented to the Full YC on July 6^th 2015.  There was no public comment.

7. Staff Report

Staff updated the committee on two upcoming events:
On July 23rd a group of youth from Spotlight on the Arts will be visiting City Hall and requested a presentation from Youth Commissioners.

On August 4th a group of high school students from Japan will visit City Hall and requested a presentation and discussion with the Youth Commissioners.

There was no public comment.
