1. Call to Order and Roll Call
The meeting was called to order at 5:05 p.m. Commissioners present: Mia Tu mutch, Lily Marshall-Fricker, Vee Taumoepeau, Eric Wu. Commissioners absent: Alex Guzman-Ramos, Vanessa Warri. Staff present: Phimy Truong. There was quorum.

2. Approval of Agenda (Action Item)
Commissioner Marshall-Fricker, seconded by Commissioner Taumoepeau, moved to approve the agenda. This motion was approved unanimously by acclamation.
3. Approval of Minutes (Action Item)
A. November 26, 2012
Commissioner Marshall-Fricker, seconded by Commissioner Wu, moved to approve the minutes to the meeting of November 26, 2012. This motion was approved unanimously by acclamation.
4. Public Comment on Items not on Agenda (Discussion Only)
There were none.
5. Business (All Items to Follow Discussion and Possible Action)
A. Review and work on committee priorities and S.M.A.R.T. goals (goals that are specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and timely)
Committee Chair Tu Mutch started by leading a discussion on decriminalizing sex work and her interest in exploring how to end violence against sex workers. Commissioner Tu Mutch shared some of her research with her colleagues, and expressed that she was interested in working on a resolution to recognize the International Day to End Violence against Sex Workers, which is December 17th. Commissioners asked clarifying questions. Commissioner Tu Mutch took down notes and expressed that she would be continuing to explore this topic.
Commissioner Wu then shared with his colleagues on the status of his resolution calling on the City to prioritize some of the funds from the Housing Trust Fund (adopted by voters as Proposition C in the November 2012 general election) to use to develop more housing for Transitional Age Youth. Commissioner Wu shared that he had held off on presenting the resolution at the last full commission meeting, so that he would have a chance to share it with community members for feedback. The resolution is now ready to be place on the full Youth Commission agenda for a first reading at the next meeting of Monday, December 17th, 2012.
Commissioner Marshall-Fricker shared with her research on the state and local eviction processes with her colleagues. Committee members agreed to use the remaining time to work and continue research on their priorities.
6. Items to Report to Executive Committee (Action Item)
Committee members asked staff to report the following items to the Executive Committee: the Housing Trust Fund/Tay housing resolution and the International day to end violence against sex workers resolution.
