Rome Jones grew up in SFUSD public schools and is a person with Cerebral Palsy. He is passionate about working on housing and School and Police relationships with youth. As a youth commissioner, he strives to advocate for youth to have more input on their success. He hopes to create space for community members to be involved in all matters that pertain to their livelihood. He is currently in the San Francisco Police Department’s Implicit Bias Police Working Group and was part of the Peer Resources Learning Hub as a response to COVID19. Rome is glad to return as the District 10 Youth Commissioner. He is a realtor and his family owns a construction company. In his free time, he enjoys food, playing video games, and shopping.
