Crystal Chan is a senior at Lowell High School, where she serves as President of Days for Girls Club, Vice President of Environment Club, member of Lowell's Honor Society and News Editor of The Lowell. Outside of school, she serves as Founder and Executive Director of SPACE 4 US, a community organization that empowers underprivileged students to explore and pursue fulfilling careers. She is also a reporter for Channel Kindness and volunteers at NICOS Chinese Health Coalition. In the past, she's been a member of San Francisco Public Library's Youth Advisory Board, District 7 Youth Council, Youth Advocacy Day, and DCYF's Youth Empowerment Program. Crystal is passionate about advocating for low-income families and leveling the playing field for underprivileged students to reach their full potential. In her free time, she enjoys knitting, hiking outdoors and trying new foods.
