Josephine Walker Cureton is currently in 12th grade at Lowell High School. In addition to representing District 4 on the Youth Commission, she is the Commander of her school’s JROTC program, Senior Commander of the Lowell Exhibition Drill Team, and a CSF tutor. She's excited to be continuing all our Transformative Justice work, including advocating for youth rights education and redesigning the Youth Guidance Center. She also wants to look into transportation equity and women's rights issues. She is passionate about politics and social justice, specifically public health, encouraging youth civic engagement, and creating affordable housing.

Fun facts about Josephine: She has traveled to 4 continents, can play the viola and wants to pursue a career in international politics. She enjoys drinking excessive amounts of coffee and boba, hiking, and exploring San Francisco. She is a cat person.
